An dream two days! Everything was just lovely! The host, the staff, the room, the breakfast, the pool, the atmosphere was all just excellent. Estelle was so nice, warm and welcoming, advised us on where to eat and booked us a restaurant. The breakfast setting was lovely, the food was exceptional and the staff were absolutely brilliant too. We were so sad to only stay two nights here! The attention to detail in the room was a lovely touch too with fresh milk, filtered water, coffee and rusks, small first aid kit and so much info on the town/restaurants/shops etc. Just excellent!

The accomodation is beautiful and very comfortable. Top quality of everything , beautiful bed linen and fluffy towels, added bonuses of lovely toiletries, coffee machine , and treats. The accomdation has a lovely swimming pool area and the grounds are beautiful and well looked after. The hostess is very welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you could need. The breakfast was incredible and could not of asked for anything more. I will definitely be back ! I am a hard critic and could not fault one thing. An absolute gem 💎

Our room was beautifully appointed with an additional outdoor shower that my husband loved. Each room boasted a generous veranda ideal for reading on a hot afternoon. The entire property is immaculately kept and gardens and orchards/vineyards beautiful. A delicious breakfast was freshly prepared each morning with the omelette one of best we've tasted. The property is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants.

Estelle, is the most wonderful hostess. She made us feel like we were at home. She really went the extra mile. Our room was very spacious with a wonderful veranda overlooking a beautiful water feature. There was even an outdoor shower. Everything one needed was supplied. Had an electric blanket that made our bed really toasty. Breakfast was a treat with a lovely fire going in the fireplace. The guesthouse is situated within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. Looking forward to returning in Summer to use the beautiful pool. Thank you Estelle.

Nestled in the beautiful town of Montagu, the Vineyard Country House offers a great retreat. My room was impeccably clean, well stocked (hygiene items, coffee and rusks, a carafe of sherry as a gift, etc) and the amenities, including a refreshing pool and a large balcony, really elevate the stay. The breakfast spread is a culinary delight, and the dining room has a farmhouse charm to it. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth of the hosts, ensuring a memorable stay. Vineyard Country House promises an enchanting escape, leaving guests longing to return.

The guest house is located close by a couple of restaurants. The host and staff are very welcoming and friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and the views magnificent. There's a beautiful garden with a pool right next to the vineyards, which sadly we did not use because of the rain we had. During the three week trip I had with my cousin through South Africa, this was the best accommodation of the entire trip, and I will plan a stop in Montagu again for my next trip just to stay here.

It was close to the central street, in a very nice town. The breakfast was nice, and the garden was well maintained. The owner was really nice, and communicative. We did have a room adjacent to the breakfast area, so we did wake up to the sound and smell of breakfast, which might be something to consider. Also, we imagined to try the wine from the vineyard, but that is not possible as they outsource their grapes to other manufacturers.

Fantastic location, very clean and well maintained, safe and secure. Very friendly staff. Rooms impeccable and spotless with nice extras like a box containing objects I may have forgotten like painkillers, cutex etc. lovely swimming pool in the vineyards. The town is also very pretty and worth a visit. Great value

The room is tastefully furnished with everything you need right down to thick,fluffy dressing gowns. The view from the window and the patio is over beautiful vineyards - quite peaceful. Breakfast was an absolute treat - filling and quite delicious.

The stylish, charming accommodation exceeded our expectations. Especially the comfortable, huge bed with electric blanket; considering the chilly Cape winter weather, affording a great night’s sleep. All the staff were attentive and did their best to make our stay one of the best. The breakfast was first glass. Generous and tasty. The breakfast room was delightful and cosy, with a fireplace and wonderful views of the garden and mountains.
